This is a hidden gem, let me tell you. I almost turned around because of the unpleasant environment outside, but once you pass that door, you’re transported into a completely different world. The food was not only fresh but also incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this place. I suggest asking the chef to surprise you with a dish; he knows what’s best. I’ll definitely be coming back when I fly into town.

This is a great spot for sushi when you’re in the Santa Ana area. The presentation was awesome. Actually started eating it before I decided I should take a picture so that’s why there’s a half a plate. The shift did a great job. The hostess was super kind. Definitely recommend Koco Sushi. We will definitely be back again.

Koco’s Sushi has been special to me from the very beginning. When I first moved to the area, it quickly became my go-to spot, the kind of place that feels familiar, comforting, and consistently good every time. The sushi is always fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor, but what really stands out is the experience. The owner is truly one of a kind—always greeting you with a warm smile and making you feel right at home. That genuine kindness and welcoming energy makes every visit feel personal, not just like another meal out. My boyfriend and I’s best dates have been here, sharing rolls like the TNT and Fuego with spicy sauce, and just enjoying the atmosphere. It’s one of those places that naturally creates special memories. During my pregnancy, I had to stay away from sushi, and honestly, Koco’s was one of the things I missed the most. After I gave birth, it was the very first meal I wanted—and it did not disappoint. That first bite was everything I had been craving and more. Koco’s isn’t just a sushi spot to me—it holds memories. From new beginnings to big life moments, it’s been there through it all. If you’re looking for fresh sushi, amazing service, and a place that tr

I had a fantastic experience at Koco Sushi! The sushi quality is top-notch—everything tasted incredibly fresh and was prepared with care. My order was ready right on time, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. For the quality of food you get, the price is very reasonable. Definitely my new go-to spot for great sushi!

First impression walking in wasn’t great. The tables were a little dirty, the space is very small and felt a bit cramped, and service started off a little slow. The atmosphere also isn’t ideal for conversation since the music is pretty loud. That said, the food completely made up for it. The sushi was absolutely phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. The hand rolls were delicious, the eel was fantastic, and the salmon tasted fresh and flavorful. The scallops were good quality, though I personally didn’t love the mayonnaise mix on them — just a bit too buttery for my taste. As the night went on, the service improved a lot. We had a large order, so the wait was a little longer than usual, but the staff was very accommodating. Overall, not the best first impression or ambiance, but the food is excellent. If you care most about high-quality sushi, this place is definitely worth trying. 🍣
